I also made this special mask from buttery soft cowhide.
The cowhide framing the mouth and eye cut-outs is medium thick, but also sufficiently soft. I use this leather, and black of similar character, to make the tassel on the top of the head, 60 threads in all, about 50 cm long. The tassel is attached to the top of the head by 4 strong black pins, so that it can be removed, which has two advantages:
- you can use the pigtail as a whip,
- you can use the mask without the tassel, because the 4 black patents are hardly visible
The mask can be fitted tightly to your head with a sheepskin corset at the back.
You can order it in pure black or red and black -
